I went to Knoxville in May, and just got back from the Nationals In Louisville. Lots of interest in the Upholstery part of building a car. Customers, not only doing thier own cars, but street rod shops adding another facet to their business, are interested in getting the right equipment to do custom upholstery. My sales were up about 50% over last year in machines , the how to videos, and how to books. I can’t think of another tool that you can do one job with and have it paid for, plus save many dollars. The AMA show was a new one for me,and even though the attendance was down, the people that were there came to do business. I was feturing the new Monster Brute for repairing inflatable jumps and the tent and awning repairs as well. This new machine seems to be just what this industry is needing. The Monster Brute sews 12 layers of 18 oz. vinyl with ease. Since the machine rolls around the repair instead of trying to lift a 500 pound inflatable through a stationary machine it makes the repairs a lot easier. Back from Florida and the IAPPA show , a very good show and lots of excitement on the monster Brute for repair on the inflatable jumps. Now we are getting ready for “Surfaces” the product show for the flooring industry on Feb.2nd, 3rd, 4th, and the 5th. I will be working in National Carpet Equipment’s booth, showing the carpet binding machines and equpment that we build for National Carpet Equipment company. we will be introducing some new machines there. I’m getting ready to go to the IAAPA show in Orlando. This show is a Expo for the amusement & theme park industry. I am bringing sewing machines designed for Manufacture and repair of the inflatable jumps and advertising balloons, and machines for the manufacture and repair of tents, and awnings. This year I am bringing a 25″ long arm, double needle machine, and a new rolling portable machine capable of sewing up to 3/4″ thick fabrics. Well I’m back home from the nationals, and had a very succesfull show.
The new” how to do Headliners” Video is finally here and we sold almost 100 of them at the show, along with the how to sew seats and also the how to do panels. It’s always good to see my past customers my old freinds and to make new ones.
